Artem Group works with organisations to help them thrive in the face of escalating complexity and change. We work with organisations who have hope for the future, both economically and socially.

Research consistently shows people leave their job because of factors within an organisation’s control, the most common one being the quality of leadership they experience. We live and work in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous global environment, one that is facing disruption like never before - organisations in all industries must face up to the challenges this presents.

In addition to this, effective leadership is the single most important factor impacting business results, yet leadership development is often left to chance. Leaders are expected to learn on the job, cuts are made to the development budget or alternatively, leaders get to a level where they are too vulnerable to admit what they don’t know - so they remain subject to their own limitations, often unaware of the impact this may be having on the broader system.

We believe leadership is not a title but a way of being and effective leadership is critical at all levels in an organisation. Leaders must first understand the science of leadership through acquisition of the skills and capabilities required to lead others, and then apply this body of knowledge consistently through practice.

However, the missing link to effective leadership is often in the art – the ability to deeply understand ourselves, so that we can collaborate across silos, continuously innovate and achieve organisational results. This calls for deep transformative leadership development to support the leadership capacity necessary to work in complex and unpredictable environments.

Artem is Latin for art, and at Artem, we focus on the science, practice and art of leadership and believe all three are required for holistic, well rounded, high performing leaders.

We work with organisations to determine what their leadership challenges are and then together design high impact developmental experiences to grow leadership capability at all levels.

We will design within your parameters whilst also testing your boundaries and providing you with alternative learning solutions. Fundamentally, we recognise multiple polarities exist in organisations – unsolvable problems/adaptive challenges -  and without thinking differently and systemically, leaders struggle to achieve sustainable business results.

We have expertise in bringing incumbents of specialty fields together to learn and grow in a familiar context and with a consistent language. This might include distinct groups of lawyers, doctors, or financial experts.

We have a team of highly experienced management and leadership development professionals and subscribe to a broad range of methods, theories and models. We don’t settle for best practice, we are constantly striving for next practice, to enable organisations sustainable success.
