We have extensive design, delivery and coaching experience across the Australian sporting sector, having worked with hundreds of people in leadership and coaching roles in this industry since 2013. Engaging with role holders in a range of development forums we have worked closely with Performance Directors, Coaches, Athletes, CEOs, Board Members and specialist providers such as Physiotherapists, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Scientists, Nutritionists and Health and Wellbeing professionals. This has given us an appreciation for the complexity of the system and the challenges faced by these role holders in this unique sector. 

In addition, we have designed and delivered both open and customised development programs across the NIN, AIS, NSOs, Professional Codes, Game Delivery Partners and SSOs. We hold knowledge of the past, consciousness of the current context and genuine hope for what is possible in the Australian sporting system. Leading Sport

We deliver an open program aimed at leaders and coaches in sport, the stated aims of this program are to enable you to lead more effectively by:

  • increasing your understanding of your leadership purpose and values

  • building greater relational capability to enable a higher performing team

  • developing skills and mindsets to collaborate across sport disciplines

  • clarifying your leadership vision and understanding what is possible for the future of sport

This program includes a 360 degree feedback instrument, 1:1 leadership coaching and 2 modules with cross-sport collaborative action research work in between:

This open program is priced at $4,950 plus GST per person inclusive of the facilitated workshops, The Leadership Circle profile, 1:1 debrief and action learning circles. Should you wish to have post program coaching, we can also support this.

Leading high performing team dynamics

We also deliver an open program focussed on developing leaders who are wanting to lead higher performing team dynamics and cultures. The stated aims of the program are to enable you to understand, work with and shift team dynamics by:

  • exploring a model focussing on high performing team dynamics

  • understanding and managing dysfunctional patterns in team behaviour in the interest of high performance

  • developing skills to create psychologically safe team environments

  • building strategies to engage, motivate and align team members

The program consists of a pre-program interview, a 3 day face to face module, cross sport collaborative action learning circles and a recall session to reflect on the impact of the learning with your teams:

This open program is priced at $3,750 plus GST per person inclusive of the pre-program interview, facilitated workshop, action learning circles and post-program recall session. Should you wish to have post program coaching, we can also support this.

Sport specific leadership coaching

We have a number of experienced coaches who work with people leaders (CEOs, GMs, Head Coaches, Athlete Leaders, etc) across the sporting sector in a coaching capacity, enabling leadership development, increased self-awareness and emotional regulation, clarity around purpose and values as well as greater strategic thinking, enhanced communication and stronger stakeholder management skills. Our coaching is customised to the individual; some of our coaches have specific passion and expertise for skill development, others for women leading in sport, and others for enabling sport leaders through significant transitions (i.e. athlete to coach, coach to sport administrator, sport administrator to board member, and so on). Often our coaching will draw upon a number of different leadership profiles to support, including the Leadership Maturity Profile or The Leadership Circle 360. We also work with sporting organisations to deliver customised programs designed specifically for them, based on their strategic intentions or transformational agendas.
