INNER WORK

We support leaders to do the work within themselves. This involves:

  • Identifying a personal purpose

  • Translating this purpose into a future outcome

  • Identifying and facing any fears or limiting belief systems

  • Balancing decisions between head, heart and gut.

ACTION WORK

We also challenge leaders to take action by:

  • Building greater systemic awareness

  • Engaging in courageous dialogue with others

  • Developing learning communities with fellow leaders for ongoing support and challenge

Diagram of the Leadership Circle

The Leadership Circle (TLC) is a highly impactful 360-degree feedback model to support individual leadership and executive team development.

The TLC helps leaders understand how long-established habits and behavioural patterns might impact their leadership.

It provides an integrated framework describing creative approaches to leadership (capabilities positively correlated to organisational effectiveness), and reactive tendencies that can work against achieving our full potential (negatively correlated to business effectiveness) and team trust.

Artem founders (Matt Williams, Jil Toovey and Jayne Jennings) have an extensive background in leadership development across a number of industries and sectors.

As a boutique learning and development consultancy, we focus on understanding the hidden or unconscious barriers faced by leaders in a highly complex world. Our intention is to support leaders to purposefully and personally transform as they develop the capacity to face the ongoing challenge of leadership.

Our approach encourages growth by creating space for leaders to make sense of their world in more complex and inclusive ways. We challenge leaders to test their assumptions, to question their perspective and to identify how they may be getting in their own way. This gives leaders ownership of their developmental journey.

This type of development calls for different learning experiences so leaders can explore, experiment and embed new learning. We pride ourselves on creating a safe space for leaders to recognise what is takes to be their best and providing them with new ways to learn.

JIL TOOVEY

Jil’s passion and skill is designing and facilitating transformational change at a personal and group level. She is interested in how individuals in significant organisational roles might be better equipped to lead in complex environments and adapt to system and organisational changes Her work focuses on the person who makes the leader, not the other way around. Jil believes leadership consciousness and self awareness in addition to behaviours and skills, scales what a leader is capable of.

MATT WILLIAMS

Matt is passionate about developing leaders and organisations with high integrity and clear purpose. His work empowers people to better lead with courage, facilitates higher performing teams and creates more adaptive organisations. Matt specialises in leadership development, team and organisational development. He enjoys group and one to one executive coaching, action learning, process facilitation and co-facilitation of both small and large groups. His approach is both developmentally supportive and brings healthy challenge.

Diversity matters to us and our own development. As such, we invite participants from varied backgrounds.  We welcome people of all races, abilities, spiritualities, genders and sexual orientations to join us.  We will do all we can to ensure you feel welcome, seen and heard. Your feedback is invited if this isn't your experience with us and will help us learn.

Artem acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Victoria where we meet and work, recognising their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.

We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
